~ Sweet Stuff ~

This is one of my first attempts to make a tri-fold card. I found the tutorial here at SCS!! It took me a minute or so to get the folding under control! Other than that....this card is very easy to make and they are adorable! I have already given away three of these cards to my friends! (I know I should have taken pictures before hand! LOL!) Have u tryed the tri-fold???

My First Coaster Album!

Ok let me tell you....I never knew it would be so difficult to find plain old coasters! I went to all the dollar stores and big box stores such as Wal-Mart and Zellers trying to find basic coasters.....No Luck! Thankfully last week when I went to a going away party for some girls at my work, the bar tender gave me a pile of the round coasters! I'd prefer if they were square...but I will keep on looking! Anyway, I had to try and make something with them.....so I made this little photo keeper of me as a child with my grandparents! Hope u like it!

I'm Back!! =)

Yeah!! Exams are over...let the summer begin!!! Thanks to everyone who stopped by and has been patient while I've been away!

Well I started going through my pictures today....One of my summer projects will be to make a scrapbook of me and my grandparents! My grandparents who are now watching over me from above raised me as a child from the age of eight months! I love and miss them both so much, but I am blessed to have had them for parents! The love and wisdom they taught me as a child and as a young adult I will never forget, I look forward to passing it on to my own children one day=)

Exams!!

Hello Everyone!
Just wanted to let everyone know that I haven't forgotten about my blog or that I haven't posted lately! I am in the middle of writing my university exams so for the next two weeks stamping is off limits! If I were to stamp, I wouldn't study!! So...I hope everyone checks back in a few weeks! Once exams are over I will be free for the summer! That means I will be a stampin and a scrappin all summer long! I have new stamps on the way! WOOOHOOO!!!!

Happy Belated Easter! =)

Whew the wedding is here and gone! What an amazing time! Everything was perfect! .....

I absolutely love the cool caribbean paper from SU! It is definitely my fave! I love this $1.00 stamp from Michael's (Pregnant Lady) I love changing up the dress! I am going to stamp my soon to be sister-in-laws baby shower invitations! So much fun....I can't wait to get started! But...there are still exams! Ugh! LOL!

Wedding Day!!

Finally it has arrived! My finaces sister is getting married today and I am her Maid of Honor....After months of planning it is here! I am so excited for everyone that I could barely sleep last night....hence the reason why I am blogging at 7Am! LOL!!!

Unfortunately all the 'summer' weather we had last week has left us and been replaced with snow....But what can you do! I guess that is to be expected with a spring wedding! Especially in Canada! =) But the fresh layer of snow on the ground will be beautiful and serene....

So......no stamping for today =( that will have to wait.......

Cool Caribbean! I love it!

I absolutely love this color! This card is pretty basic but the SU paper cool caribbean is such a nice color I just had to use it! Makes me feel 'springy' despite the fact I woke up this morning to see a nice blanket of snow! For the past two weeks everyone has been wearing shorts, and tanks as if it were the middle of summer! Well.... not today! I just hope that the snow dissipates and the cold weather too because I am in my fiance's sister's wedding on Saturday! It's going to be cold wearing strappy shoes and an open back dress when it's winter! LoL!!

Despite my wishfulness of warmer weather....I am happy to see winter sticking around for now....As many of you know scientists are warning that the planet is facing a catostrophic crisis right now.....Global Warming.....It is our responsibility to protect our earth for future generations but we must act now. Former President elect Al Gore produced an award winning documentary titled "An Inconveniet Truth" it's a must see!!
