Wedding Day!!

Finally it has arrived! My finaces sister is getting married today and I am her Maid of Honor....After months of planning it is here! I am so excited for everyone that I could barely sleep last night....hence the reason why I am blogging at 7Am! LOL!!!

Unfortunately all the 'summer' weather we had last week has left us and been replaced with snow....But what can you do! I guess that is to be expected with a spring wedding! Especially in Canada! =) But the fresh layer of snow on the ground will be beautiful and serene....

So......no stamping for today =( that will have to wait.......

Cool Caribbean! I love it!

I absolutely love this color! This card is pretty basic but the SU paper cool caribbean is such a nice color I just had to use it! Makes me feel 'springy' despite the fact I woke up this morning to see a nice blanket of snow! For the past two weeks everyone has been wearing shorts, and tanks as if it were the middle of summer! Well.... not today! I just hope that the snow dissipates and the cold weather too because I am in my fiance's sister's wedding on Saturday! It's going to be cold wearing strappy shoes and an open back dress when it's winter! LoL!!

Despite my wishfulness of warmer weather....I am happy to see winter sticking around for now....As many of you know scientists are warning that the planet is facing a catostrophic crisis right now.....Global Warming.....It is our responsibility to protect our earth for future generations but we must act now. Former President elect Al Gore produced an award winning documentary titled "An Inconveniet Truth" it's a must see!! Another Day!

Ok so I must say that Michael's has 50% off all of their designer paper as well as cardstock! OMG! I was in heaven this morning! So much fun! I feel like a kid in the candy store when picking up new printed paper! I love it!

Anyway, I came home and had to make some cards.....(yes I know I have exams and yes I know that I should be studying........Meh!.....gotta take a break sometime! LOL!) I love the 'All I Have Seen' stamp set....so very pretty! Hope you like it!

My First Altered Clipboard!

It is the end of the school year and exams are only two weeks away....Technically...I should be studying however I took a little break today to do some stamping....I was really wanting to try a mini coaster scrapbook however I didn't have much luck in finding cork coasters..... Instead, I decided to try the SCS challenge to alter a clipboard. (http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/clipboard.php)

This project was fun, quick and easy! I am happy how this clipboard turned out, and the possibilites are endless! I think I will be making some of these as gifts for family and friends!!

A Little late!

Sorry it has been so long since I have posted! It is the end of the school year and that means deadlines! Ugh!! However I am happy to say that for the first time last night I sat down and did some stamping!! I will try and post those pictures later today!

Is anyone else in anticipation for the new Stampin Up Idea Book & Catalogue? I can't wait!!! That means $$$$$$$ to be spent! LOL! You have to enjoy some things in life and stamping is just one of them!!!!
